"These pieces were all written during the "lockdown" period, and most began life as synth-based sketches as a way to get away from the guitar for a bit. As they developed into what would become a proper TGK mini-album, a sort of retro sci-fi aesthetic started to take shape. The concept of little lullabies to soundtrack an isolated life on another world seemed apropos- my hope is that they might enhance life on this one in some small way as well".
